Jamaica’s Reggae Girlz are set to face France in an international friendly next Friday at the Stade Auguste Bonal in Eastern France.

Much like the men’s team, the squad is benefiting from the inclusion of international players with Jamaican heritage. Among the new call-ups is Liverpool Women’s team captain and fullback, Taylor Hinds.

Hinds, who has Jamaican roots and has visited the island multiple times, including last summer, earns her first call-up to Hubert Busby’s squad.

The 25-year-old English-born wingback, who began her career at Arsenal before spending two years with Everton and eventually moving to Liverpool, played a key role in helping Liverpool secure promotion to the English Super League.

Who is also receiving her first call-up to the squad for the upcoming fixture is Ipswich Town's Natasha Thomas. The 28-year-old forward has spent her entire career with the Tractor Girls.

Meanwhile, Manchester City star Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw, who sustained an injury in her last match, will miss the squad for the upcoming game.
