The "Trade Winds Riddim" blends sounds of a Dancehall Caribbean nature infused with an obvious Afrobeat influenced composition. It bolsters a powerful lineup of Dancehall / Reggae stalwarts, with young exciting talents locally & internationally including; Ce’Cile, Demarco, QQ, ReniGAD formerly of RDX, Royal Messenjah from Gambia and newcomer, Gaado.
The project is co-produced by Luigi Society & ZJ West of Yo West Productions who are both upbeat about the project’s release. "We’ve been working on this project for some time now; some of the songs were previously released, and we added a few more then decided to finally complete it", said West.
Keeping with its afrobeat-type influence, the project features the multiple award-winning artiste, Royal Messenjah from Gambia & as well as a sultry collaboration with legends Demarco and Ce’Cile. "The project has a nice blend of artistes to compliment its Dancehall-AfroBeat type fusion with Royal's song even sung in two languages; English and Wolof, which is one of the most popular languages in West Africa", added the producer Luigi Society.
