Dancehall superstar Masicka is ramping up his efforts as he works on his sophomore album, which will mark his debut under the 'Def Jam' label. While he initially hinted at an October release date, it appears the 'Tyrant' deejay is now eyeing an early December launch to coincide with his 30th birthday celebration.
In the meantime, Masicka has filmed a music video for a new single, reportedly set to be part of his forthcoming second album, the title of which remains unknown.
Earlier this year, he inked a deal with the American label, transitioning from an independent artiste who gained widespread recognition with his debut album, '438'.
His initial offerings under Def Jam include 'Pieces' featuring Jahshii, which has already garnered an impressive 12 million views on YouTube since its February release, and 'Tyrant,' amassing 10 million YouTube views to date.
