Dancehall heavyweight Masicka to join Adekunle Gold's tour

The dancehall star has announced that he will join his labelmate artiste on his American tour. Will he share another stage with Aidonia on Saturday?

Fresh from their stunning performances at 'Summa Fest’ in Barbados and just after seemingly ending a years-long beef, will dancehall stars Masicka and Aidonia surprisingly about to share another main stage event together?


Currently gathering massive attention in the dancehall space, Masicka returns to the Kingston stages for the first time in 5 years, as he is the headliner of Streetz Festival on Saturday, September 2nd at the National Stadium car parking.


Rumors about a surprise entry of Aidonia into the festival lineup have not been confirmed by the promoters, but it will certainly be an impressive statement of unity for the dancehall.

Last month during his performance at Pearly Beach, Ocho Rios at the 'Allure' event, AIdonia sent shockwaves all over social media when he publicly endorsed Masicka. "Who else mi fi big up" belted out the Deejay at the event, and was received by was greeted with thousands shouting for Masicka, to which the deejay obliged.


Streetz Festival with title sponsor, Dragon Stout, also presents an impressive lineup of local selectors with the likes of Boom Boom, Coppershot, Zj Chrome & Shukkle Bus.


In addition, Masicka is about to join in the American tour of the Nigerian afrobeat star and his 'Def Jam' labelmate, Adekunle Gold, with both to perform in places like Dallas, Houston, Boston, Brooklyn and other places among other places.



As Masicka is continuously building his reputation in the international music space, Aidonia excited everyone on Sunday during his performance at 'Chris Brown and Friends' concert in Kingston, as announced that he and his wife Kimberly Megan are expecting another child after the tragedy and loss of their son, King Khalif.
