Dancehall star Masicka may have delayed what he initially promised as his "best work yet" slated for release on December 4th last year, but the "Whites" deejay is now gearing up to drop his third studio album this year.

Sources close to the artist confirmed that the album is currently in production. Although an official announcement is yet to be made, Masicka recently shared footage of himself recording several new tracks, including a notable collaboration with the renowned group Major Lazer.

On X (formerly Twitter), Masicka’s brother further fueled anticipation, hinting at what's coming next by stating, "This third album, new new new sounds," placing fans on high alert.

This upcoming project will follow Masicka's well-received 2023 album, "Generation of Kings," and his acclaimed debut LP, "438," both of which earned significant praise online.

In the meantime, Masicka is set to release the remix of his hit single "Whites," featuring American-Moroccan rapper French Montana, this week. The music video for the remix was recently shot in Miami.
