Moise Kean rushed to hospital after collapsing on pitch
Fiorentina striker Moise Kean sustained a serious head injury during his side’s 1-0 defeat to Hellas Verona on Sunday. The forward collapsed on the pitch minutes after receiving treatment but regained consciousness and was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
The 'Viola' forward suffered a blow to the head in the 60th minute when his face collided with Verona defender Dawidowicz's knee mid-fall. He was allowed back onto the pitch after receiving treatment from Fiorentina's medical staff; however, just minutes after rejoining his teammates, Kean collapsed again.
Kean was conscious when he was escorted from the stadium and transported by ambulance to a local hospital. Fiorentina later issued a statement confirming that the player was undergoing medical checks."
The Italian football star has visited to Jamaica in the past and has strong connection to Jamaican music even earlier this morning he shared Damian Marley song on his story ahead of the match.
