The first world music album
The Grammy-winning Jamaican reggae band, Morgan Heritage recently announced their new studio album titled 'The Homeland' set for release on 21st April 2023.
The band has huge popularity in Africa, which made them choose a name that indicates a strong connection with the African people.
This is the groups first World music album and they combine the sounds of Africa with the sounds of Jamaica on this Afro-Fusion album that features legends and future legends from both places.
The first single track from the album, 'Who Deh Like U Official' featuring Bounty Killer, Cham & Stonebwoy, has already been revealed with a music video.
The 21-track album includes some guest contributions from Beenie Man, Popcaan, Shaggy, and some African acts such as the Ugandian singer, Eddy Kenzo, the Senegalese singer, Youssou N’Dour, the Ghanian star, Shatta Wale, and more.
