With the Paris Olympics set for this summer, Netflix is set to release a docuseries titled "Sprint," which will follow some of the world's fastest athletes. The series premieres on July 2.

After the success of series such as Formula 1's "Drive to Survive," golf's "Full Swing," and tennis's "Break Point," Track and Field now enters the realm of Netflix docuseries with this 6-episode series.

"Sprint" explores how elite sprinters navigate training, media scrutiny, and fierce competition as they race to become the world's fastest humans. The series features leading sprinters from countries including the United States, Great Britain, Ivory Coast, Kenya, and Italy. It also highlights visits to Jamaica, showcasing top athletes like Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Shericka Jackson, Elaine Thompson-Herah, and drawing inspiration from the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt.

The series also closely follows sprinters such as Sha'Carri Richardson, Noah Lyles, and Dina Asher-Smith.

Just this past Sunday, Lyles lost to Jamaican rising sprint talent, Oblique Seville, who clocked a personal best and world-leading time of 9.82 seconds at the Racers Grand Prix in Kingston's National Stadium.
