Jamaican basketball player Nick Richards continues to impress since being traded to the Phoenix Suns in the NBA.

The former Jamaica College student had a dominant double-double in his Phoenix Suns home debut, posting 20 points and grabbing a career-best 19 rebounds in a 119-109 win over the Washington Wizards.

This marked Richards' fourth game with the Suns and his first at home since being acquired from the Charlotte Hornets last week.

Kevin Durant dominated on the offensive end with 29 points, while Bradley Beal led the bench with 20 points, helping the Suns secure a crucial win.

Richards earned his place in the starting five, replacing Bosnian center Jusuf Nurkić, who has expressed dissatisfaction with his current status, revealing that he hasn't spoken with head coach Mike Budenholzer in two months and even stating that the two "don't have a relationship." With the trade deadline approaching, he might be on the move.
