Rapstress Nicki Minaj continues to show her deep love for dancehall and Jamaican culture. Earlier this week, she surprised her Barbz fans with a performance by the legendary King of Dancehall, Beenie Man, during the London stop of her "Pink Friday 2 World Tour".

Minaj arrived in the UK city earlier this week after an airport saga in the Netherlands. As with many of her previous stops, she had a few surprises for the crowd. Not only did Beenie Man perform some of his biggest hits, including "Dude", and "Who Am I", but she also brought out Stylo G and Giggs.

Reflecting on her moment with the dancehall icon, Nicki wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “I just performed with the KING OF DANCEHALL. One of the most talented musicians that I looked to for inspiration my entire career. I can’t believe this is my life sometimes. One of my heroes. I love this man so much.”

In an Instagram post with photos and videos from the night, she added: "#GagCityLONDON What's left to say that I haven't said yet about my 'second home' in London for 15 years? I adore you. I do. Always have. One of my biggest music heroes came out to see me last night. He gave me a lot of inspiration before and beyond my first album. Thank you King. Thank you Stylo G & Giggs."

Beenie Man, who earlier this week headlined the City Splash festival in London alongside other dancehall acts including Shenseea, also thanked Minaj on his Instagram account: "Grateful for the opportunity to share the stage with Queen @nickiminaj in the UK. Thank you for the love and support, it was an honor to perform alongside you."
