Dancehall sensation Nigy Boy receives Montego Bay Sumfest City Award following his debut with an electrifying performance

Dancehall artiste Nigy Boy made a remarkable debut at Sumfest, performing on night two and captivating the crowd at Catherine Hall, Saint James.
His silver alien outfit, complemented by backup dancers and extras dressed in robotic costumes, added a unique flair to his performance. He delivered popular hits such as "Continent" and "Judgement," and covered Dexta Daps' "Breaking News" and Kranium's "Nobody Has to Know."
In accepting the citation and award, an overjoyed Nigy Boy thanked his supporters, expressing gratitude for sharing in a moment he had been manifesting for himself for the past eight years.
"I just wanna say it was a privilege being here. My first-ever performance was in the place I came from, Montego Bay. I appreciate all of you for coming out. this love is real," the 23-year-old singer said.
From his rise to stardom, Nigy Boy, born Nigel Hector, has been an unstoppable force in the music industry, consistently releasing hits and securing major deals and accolades. He was also honored by the New York State Assembly for his contributions and global impact in the music industry.
