Jamaican 100m sprinter Oblique Seville, and 400m Jamaican national champion Nickisha Pryce have joined Michael Johnson's new track and field brand, Grand Slam Track—the global home of professional track competition.

Oblique Seville who clocked a world-leading 9.82 seconds at the Racers Grand Prix in Kingston in June 2024, defeating Olympic champion Noah Lyles. He later set a personal best of 9.81 seconds during the semi-finals at the Paris Olympics, finishing eighth in the final. Recognized as one of the world's top sprinters, Seville is determined to break more records. “I’ve always known that to be the best, you have to compete with the best, and the opportunity to do that in Grand Slam Track is exactly what I’ve been preparing for,” said Seville. “The races in this series will be a perfect platform to test my speed, consistency, and ability to perform under pressure." Seville is set to compete in front of his local crowd on April 4–6, when the debut of four Grand Slam events will take place at the National Stadium in Kingston.

Pryce, a two-time national 400m champion (2023, 2024), clinched the 2024 NCAA 400m title with a record-breaking 48.89 seconds, setting both NCAA and Jamaican records. She later improved to 48.57 seconds at the London Diamond League and reached the 400m semi-finals at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

"Joining Grand Slam Track is a dream come true for me," said Pryce. "I've spent years working toward competing at the highest level, and this is the perfect opportunity to push myself even further. I'm excited for the challenge and ready to bring my best to every race. The road ahead will be tough, but I believe I have the strength to rise to it and accomplish even more, both on and off the track."

Both Jamaicans are joined by three additional signings: American Alexis Holmes, Ethiopia's Hagos Gebrhiwet, and French rising sprinter Sasha Zhoya.

Fans can now purchase tickets for the Grand Slam events in Kingston, Miami, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, knowing these five racers will compete in two races during each weekend.
