Talent is something you can't hide, it is just waiting for the right moment to expose itself. This thing is also right about the rising female dancehall artiste, Peaches Adaba, since she released her single, 'Guilty Pleasure', which was produced by her label and managers, Adaba Entertainment.

"I just write songs, I could just dream about something or watch a show and see a bad topic and just work with it, it's not about anybody specific", she explained.

Peaches Adaba, whose real name is Sherese Chisholm, hails from Morant Bay, Saint Thomas. "I knew from a tender age I wanted to make music but nobody really had the time to listen and actually push me to make music", she described. "I grew up in Morant bay surrounded by parties every other night and people who love to just play music as the sunrise", she added.

The influences on her music style came mainly from Tarrus Riley, Chornixx and Usher, however, Peaches determined to forge her own identity. "My style is culture with a creative twist", she stated.

So even though this is the beginning of a bright career, as we've seen with many artistes from St. Thomas in recent years, from Popcaan through Skillibeng and Chronic Law, the young female artiste can dream. "My dream is to inspire and make people feel relatable listening to my music. To know people hear and love the music that I share is all I really could ask for. I don’t dream about awards", she concluded.
