Popcaan marks 10 years of ‘Where We Come From’ with new music video
Dancehall superstar Popcaan has released the official music video for his iconic single “Where We Come From” in celebration of its 10th anniversary.
“To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of Popcaan’s debut album, we’re dropping the official ‘Where We Come From’ music video,” announced producer Dre Skull. Alongside acclaimed producer Anju Blaxx, Dre Skull was instrumental in crafting the hit single, which appeared on Popcaan's groundbreaking 2014 debut album.
The original track has racked up over 41 million views on YouTube to date and garnered nearly 6 million streams on Spotify.
The album Where We Come From recently made Rolling Stone magazine’s list of The 250 Greatest Albums of the 21st Century So Far, securing the 197th position.
Last month, Popcaan released a 10-year deluxe edition of "Where We Come From", featuring two previously unreleased tracks, “Don’t Finesse Me” and “Beat The Struggle,” along with an acoustic rendition of the iconic title track.
