Reflecting on his journey, Joel shares, "Growing up in the Unruly Camp has been a unique and inspiring experience. My mom and uncle have been my biggest influences. My uncle's dedication and passion for music has always motivated me. With 'Immigrant,' I wanted to create something that resonates with Jamaicans and regional citizens living abroad. It's a song about our experiences and the stories that connect us. I'm also incredibly excited to collaborate with other local artists and continue to grow as a producer."

"Immigrant" is a powerful and heartfelt track that explores the immigrant experience, resonating deeply with listeners. The single showcases Joel's innovative production skills and Popcaan's signature lyrical prowess, resulting in a song that is both reflective and forward-thinking.

As Joel embarks on this new chapter, he is eager to showcase his unique perspective and creativity in the music industry. This release marks a significant milestone as he also prepares to graduate from a prestigious high school in Kingston later this month.
