The Phillips Field Sports Complex in Yallahs, St. Thomas, now the new home for Popcaan’s ‘Unruly Fest’ was graced with a slew of memorable performances. The thousands in attendance were seemingly fully satisfied by the package unveiled by the ‘Unruly Boss’.
With a nice mixture of new and upcoming acts, matched with legendary and international acts, the patrons could not have asked for any more. There were well received sets form Imeru, who introduced Abatau & Davianah, followed by new sensation Najeeri. The legendary Louie Culture delivered his customary hit catalog to which the St. Thomas natives all sang along with him.
Up next was the St. Elizabeth based Laden, who delivered a short and spicy set filled with his most notable songs. The venue erupted with the introduction of ‘Mr Universe’, Skillibeng who delivered an energetic performance to his native supporters with songs such as ‘Whap Whap’ and ‘Crocodile Teeth’ receiving monstrous encore forwards.

The graceful I-Wayne was up next with more subtle but intimate performance for the Yallahs crowd, that ended with his hit records ‘Can’t Satisfy Her’ and ‘Life Seeds’. Then entered, the ‘Unruly Boss’, Popcaan, the moment the entire complex was waiting on had arrived. In a no nonsense mood the ‘Unruly Boss’ commenced in an energetic fashion to a thunderous ovation from the entire venue with every song sending the mass crowd into a frenzy.
After apologizing for the absence of Rap star ‘Fivio Foreign’, Popcaan quickly delivered his first surprise of the night - international superstar Quavo of the globally known group, ‘Migos’, who impressed the Yallahs Crowd. The surprises continued with Popcaan sharing the stage with Dancehall legend Sean Paul then cameo appearances from Chi Ching Ching, Protoje, Jesse Royal and Chronic Law. A great night however concluded abruptly when Law enforcement officers entered the stage show during Popcaan’s final surprises - Jahshii and Govana. A seemingly irate ‘Unruly Boss’ was very disappointed and didn’t hesitate to take out his frustrations on the Officers with a show of public disapproval.
