Dancehall living legend Vybz Kartel sparks concerning news over his health with the reports has revealed the deterioration of the incarcerated artiste's health condition.
The Dancehall giant is facing a "life-threatening' illness" and reportedly battling Graves disease and heart conditions, according to an interview held by a Fox 5 reporter, Lisa Evers with his attorney, Isat Buchanan earlier this week who also said that his representative is allegedly lockdown for 23 hours a day in his cell.
This unclear situation immediately earned him the support of some dancehall entertainers, led by His protégé-Dancehall superstar, Popcaan who used his Twitter account to call out: "Free up Adidja Palmer, Give that man another chance at life. Jah jah know". Other entertainers such as international dancehall superstar, Spice who recorded some remarkable hits alongside Kartel, has changed her Instagram profile picture to Kartel ones, just to show her support.
But while the reports spread out, the World Boss aired business as usual. In a new single that is paying kind of homage to his character, Kartel joins forces with his friend, producer-artiste Rvssian and the American rapper, Trippie Red entitled, "Sixteen". The single was released on June 1 via Rvssian's label, Head Concussion Records.
The well-known Jamaican producer/artist, Rvssian (born Tarik Johnston) who has had a close relationship with Kartel for years, also changed his profile picture on Instagram, and while publishing the teaser video added a caption - "Some people don't know loyalty and friendship". In fact, the music video led by top video director, Shane Creative, uses new technology that shows Adidja Palmer's character appears in the video shooting which was held in Kingston Jamaica during a recent visit to the island by the American rapper. The wonder of Tech.
