Streetz Festival announced on Friday that dancehall superstar Popcaan will headline this year’s staging, set for August 30 at the National Stadium.
This marks Popcaan’s first headlining show with his band in Kingston in over a decade, with special guests expected to join him onstage, including his younger brother NateBadz and other surprise acts.
Now in its fifth staging, Streetz Festival was previously held in St. Ann before making its Kingston debut in 2023 with a star-studded lineup headlined by dancehall superstar Masicka. The festival has hosted full-set performances from Ding Dong and Chronic Law, alongside surprise appearances by Popcaan, Tarrus Riley, Jahshii, Lila Ike, Najeeriii, Skippa, and more.
Last year’s event saw an electrifying headlining performance from Chronic Law, with guest appearances from Skippa, Jahshii, Najeeriii, and others, solidifying Streetz Festival as a major staple in Jamaica’s entertainment scene.
