Gaza unites, St. Thomas Native collab delivers music video, Konshens & Malie Donn aiming for the ladies, while Valiant teams up with Najeeriii for potential hit single

This week may have been less fruitful in terms of quantity; however, the sex-selling topics and lyrics match well with the high-quality visuals being delivered. Popcaan reunites with Vybz Kartel while Valiant and Najeeriii team up on single released from the ‘4:14’ mixtape. Let’s discuss or picks for the noteworthy singles this week.


Popcaan Ft. Vybz Kartel – 'Dull Colour' The World Boss and the unruly Boss joined forces for the first time in over a decade. The single presents a magnetic beat that blends with their addictive flows and melodies, matched with relatable lyrics.



Valiant Ft. Najeeriii – '007' From the ‘4:14’ mixtape; "Hot up the place and mi nah fi run name brand, park up the matic like a mi name James Bond”, are the opening lines of the potential hit single, ‘007.' The single features current dancehall frontrunner, Valiant with the rising star, Najeeriii on an addictive beat with infectious melodies and drifting flow by both talents, delivering another trendy track.



Popcaan Ft. Chronic Law – 'St Thomas Native' The first-ever single collaboration between both, two St. Thomas natives produced this successful song that was included on Popcaan's latest album, 'GIHE". Now, accompanied with the long awaited & highly anticipated music video, it showcases their successful rise to fame in an effort to motivate the ghetto youths on their own paths to greatness.



Stalk Ashley – 'Big Winner' Stalk Ashley showcases her lyrical prowess once again, as she delivers on the brand new 'Mercury Riddim’ by the producer, Anju Blaxx and his Black State Label. Her great wordplays and sultry vocals match well with an infectious flow that we are now familiar with from the singer.



Jafrass – 'Henne & Casamigos' With a captivating beat, Jafrass embraces a slightly different style & flow, to deliver his catchy lyrics. The music video shot by the director '9MileVisualz' gives a lively feeling to the song produced by the NSG music group.



Malie Donn – 'Little Miss Grippy' Malie Donn continues to ride the successful waves of his smash hit 'V6', and teams up with the renowned producer, DJ Frass; the rising deejay showcases his familiar flow, energy and lyrics on the single and in the music video.



Konshens – 'Dip Suh' Konshens’ core audience has always been the ladies and he aims to captivate them once again on this single. Kon Don, as he is more referred to, delivers his sex-selling lyrics and lyrical prowess with this latest addition to the 'Big Banx Riddim’ by Zimi Entertainment and 'Now Or Never'.



Kant10t – 'Big Thief' Rising dancehall artiste, Kant10t, returns with a new catchy single that conceptually highlights the life of a ‘big thief’; including the fast luxury lifestyle. The Seaview Gardens native continues to improve and is one of the rising artistes of 2023 and continues to build his repertoire in the industry.



Daddy1 – 'Easy' The 'Bro Gad', Daddy1 is trying to make his way back to the trending charts. His familiar flow which catapulted the 23-year-old talent to fame a few years ago is once again evident on this track with the video filled with sexy girls to deliver this steamy product aimed at the summer.



Other notable songs include 'Money Bag' by YK Kastro and the Seaview-Gardens talent, Gunzell with his 'Jah Know' single.
