The highly anticipated Jamaica Pork, Rum, and Soca Festival is set to elevate Jamaica’s food tourism, showcasing the island’s diverse culinary and cultural traditions. Scheduled for October 11-12, 2024, the festival promises an unforgettable experience for locals and visitors alike, with a vibrant mix of Jamaican cuisine, rum, and soca music.


The festival begins on October 11 from 12 pm – 4 pm at Footprints Café in Kingston with a free admission day, offering attendees the chance to order and pick up pork meals. The main event on October 12, from 6 pm – 12 am at The Liguanea Club, will feature top DJs, live cooking, rum tastings, and a fully inclusive menu with a wide variety of pork dishes. VVIP guests will also enjoy exotic meats, enhancing the premium experience.

Complementing the culinary delights will be a showcase of Jamaica's renowned rum, including tastings and a rum hunt. The lively rhythms of soca music will provide the perfect soundtrack to the festival, creating an atmosphere of celebration and cultural immersion. “Patrons can expect a roasting pit, live cooking sessions, rum tasting, a dessert station, café stations and pasta stations to name a few. We want to create a wholesome food and party experience for locals and tourists”, said Talisa Taylor, Project Manager and Publicist for the event.

The addition of soca music enhances the festival's appeal, creating a vibrant atmosphere for all attendees. Part proceeds will benefit The Glenlyon Foundation Charities.
