Trinidadian dancehall sensation Prince Swanny has kicked off 2024 with the release of his latest single, 'Media.' Showcasing Swanny’s dynamic wordplay and a talent for captivating, melodic hooks, the track is now available through the artist’s Ztekk imprint and Roc Nation's Equity Distribution (EQ). Alongside the single, an official music video, directed by renowned Jamaican filmmaker Keanu Gordon, also known as Shot By Deth.
26-Years-Old Prince Swanny, popularly known as Swan Dann, stands out as one of the Caribbean’s elusive, intriguing, and influential young artists. Recognized for putting TriniBad on the map with hits like “Go Fi Dem,” “Dreams,” and “Catch 22,” he introduces Trinidad & Tobago’s vibrant and sometimes controversial take on Jamaica’s dancehall sound and culture.
Prince Swanny commands a significant following throughout the Caribbean and beyond, counting Drake, Burna Boy, Kodak Black, Sean Paul, Yo Gotti, and Popcaan among his admirers. His videos have collectively amassed over 300 million views on YouTube. Beyond his individual success, Swanny played a pivotal role in the discovery and rise of dancehall sensation Byron Messia.
