Olympic bronze medalist Rajindra Campbell continues his stellar form, setting a new Jamaican national record with a throw of 22.31m at the Ivan Ivancic Memorial in Zagreb, Croatia, on Saturday.
American shot putter Ryan Crouser dominated the event with a winning throw of 22.93m, followed by fellow American Payton Otterdahl with 22.46m. Campbell secured third place while breaking his own Jamaican national record.
Campbell made history at the 2024 Paris Olympics by becoming the first Jamaican to medal in the men’s shot put, earning bronze with a best throw of 22.15m on his second attempt.
