Recording artist Alpha Pi taps into the spirit of 4/20 with the release of his new single, "Smoking Now".

Celebrating 4/20, globally recognized as Ganja Day, the Montego Bay native teams up with Q4 Records and Meech Mastermind Music, with the beat crafted by McMaestro Music, to deliver a track that fully embraces the high life and its spiritual vibes.

“You take mi to the moon, it feel like a movie,” Alpha Pi sings in a preview shared on TikTok, building anticipation for the official video, which is set to drop soon.

“The song paints a picture of how it feels to escape reality—to go my favourite place, a place that brings peace of mind—marijuana is what takes me to that place and I thought it was only right to release it on 4/20”, he shared.

The artist, whose given name is Alpha-Pi Messam, is a rising talent who has been developing his craft since his high school days, writing music and sharpening his vocal delivery. He is also a graduate of Montego Bay Community College.
