Red Bull Culture Clash is set to make a triumphant return to Jamaica after a five-year hiatus. The eagerly awaited event will take place on November 2, 2024, at the National Arena, featuring four teams curated by some of the region's top artists, MCs, DJs, and producers. These teams will engage in an electrifying battle, each striving to win the favor of the crowd.
Inspired by Jamaican sound system culture, Red Bull Culture Clash has captivated audiences worldwide. The UK edition in 2016 saw celebrities like Wiz Khalifa and Popcaan, with Unruly winning the event. The 2024 New York edition featured Team 'No Long Talk,' winning the crowd with guests Wyclef Jean and YG Marley.
The first Red Bull Culture Clash in Jamaica boasted over 65 artists, DJs, and producers, including Jada Kingdom, Ding Dong, Shenseea, Stylo G, Beenie Man, Aidonia, Govana, Teejay, Munga Honorable and more. In 2019, Team 'Do It For The Culture,' led by American producer Salaam Remi, along with veterans Spragga Benz, Bambino, Jah Snow Cone, Jack Scorpio and Disco Neil.
Red Bull Culture Clash is famous for its unique format, where the crowd's reaction is measured with a decibel reader, determining the winner by the highest average in the first five seconds. This year's event promises an unforgettable night with an eclectic mix of music genres, from Dancehall and Reggae to Soca, Hip-Hop, and R&B. Attendees can also expect surprise special guests, exclusive dubplates, and one-night-only performances.
