The Red Bull Selector lands in Jamaica
Jamaica’s premier college lifestyle brand, Campus Elite, has partnered with Red Bull Jamaica to present Red Bull Selector, a groundbreaking event showcasing the versatility of DJs in the region. For the first time in the Caribbean, this high-energy competition is set for March 15 at the University of the West Indies (UWI) Carnival’s D’ Aftermas.
This year’s event will be hosted by the energetic Brush1, dubbed the “Road Marshal,” with renowned Soca DJ and producer Travis World headlining alongside powerhouse duo Creep Chromatic and JR Chromatic of Jamaica’s popular DJ collective, Chromatic.
Red Bull Selector is redefining the DJ experience by putting the power in the hands of the audience, flipping the script on traditional setlists. Using red and blue voting tools, attendees dictate the musical direction in real time, seamlessly switching between themes and genres like Soca vs. Dancehall or Old School vs. New School. This dynamic format pushes DJs to adapt on the fly, making each performance an unpredictable, high-energy showdown.
“The space where Soca and Dancehall meet is in need of constant innovation. I think Red Bull Selector will be one of those moments—an all-star Caribbean DJ cast hosted by Jamaica’s top touring MC means a little bit of everything for the patrons. No island will be left behind because there will always be someone on stage representing,” shared Brush1.
“This event is a game changer, as patrons will now hold the power to choose what genre they want to hear throughout the event. The Disc Jocks must be prepared for anything, as they won’t know what selections the audience will make. This element of unpredictability makes each performance unique,” added Campus Elite CEO Sandre Malcolm.
Both Travis World and Silent Matic are acclaimed DJs with numerous accolades. Travis, a 2024 Caribbean Music Awards nominee for International DJ of the Year, has produced top Soca hits for stars like Machel Montano, Patrice Roberts, and Destra Garcia.

Creep Chromatic, founder of Jamaica’s legendary Chromatic sound system, has played major stages like Coachella, SOLE Dubai, and Boiler Room, earning co-signs from Drake, Cardi B, and Dua Lipa. Silent Addy, a DJ, producer, and event curator, bridges Kingston and Miami’s music scenes. He is known for global performances and collaborations with Popcaan, J. Capri, and Chi Ching Ching.
