Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz secured a place in the quarter-finals of the Concacaf Nations League on Monday, following a goalless draw against Honduras at Kingston’s National Stadium.
Steve McClaren's team held onto their lead in Group A of the Concacaf Nations League, but after two consecutive victories, they settled for a dull 0-0 draw against Honduras.
Goalkeeper Andre Blake delivered another solid performance, making key saves to keep Jamaica in the match. However, forwards Michail Antonio and Demarai Gray struggled to find the net. New recruit Mason Holgate made his debut, starting in the backline for the Reggae Boyz.
The atmosphere at the National Stadium was electric, with a star-studded crowd that included Prime Minister Andrew Holness, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia 'Babsy' Grange, and dancehall stars Aidonia and Christopher Martin, all showing their support for the team.
