Reggae Girlz to face France in Sochaux in October, followed by two home friendlies against South Africa in preparation for 2027 World Cup qualification

The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) announced on Friday three upcoming friendly matches for the Reggae Girlz as part of their ongoing preparations for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup Qualifiers, set to begin in 2025.
The Reggae Girlz will face France in a friendly international match on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Stade Auguste-Bonal, the home ground of French club FC Sochaux. The match is scheduled to kick off at 9:05 p.m. local time (2:05 p.m. in Jamaica).
Additionally, the Reggae Girlz are set to play two home matches against South Africa on November 29 and December 2, 2024.
After finishing their 2023 World Cup campaign with a 0-1 loss to Colombia in the Round of 16, the Reggae Girlz are determined to claim one of the four CONCACAF qualification spots for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, to be held in Brazil.
