Shenseea firmly establishes herself as a global superstar

Jamaican dancehall superstar Shenseea has finally released her highly-anticipated new album, ‘Never Gets Late Here.’ Blending Pop, R&B, and Latin Music, Shenseea Offers a Motivational and Joyful Collection.

Although the chart-topping hit 'Hit & Run,' featuring fellow dancehall star Masika, has been making waves in the dancehall scene for a while, other singles on the album showcase her passion for genres such as pop and R&B. The collection of songs offers motivation, joy, and inspiration.

The well-crafted intro with a hidden feature by her son Rajeiro demonstrates her brilliant and inspired creative mind.

'Tap Out' highlights the unique sound of Chimney Records, with production by Jordan McClure and Banx and Ranx. This rhythmic dancehall single seems like a dance floor banger, reminiscent of 2016's "Jiggle Jiggle."

In "Loyalty," Shenseea showcases her Jamaican vibe with a single that makes her expectations for her man crystal clear. The song even reminds the sound of her hit "Side Chick."

A mix of hip-hop and reggae influences is showcased in the standout single "Keep A Place", which is also a great piece on this spectacular album.

‘Never Gets Late Here’ is filled with timeless tracks that resonate with diverse cultures, all while preserving Shenseea’s authentic Jamaican vibe. The powerful ‘Work Me Out,’ featuring Nigerian afrobeat star Wizkid, masterfully blends pop and Afrobeat influences. ‘Flava,’ with rapstress Coi Leray, offers a fun pop-R&B catchy piece, while the vibrant ‘Red Flag’ with Anitta introduces a dynamic Latin trap soundscape.

The direction of Shenseea’s musical journey is evident, showcasing the influence of prominent Caribbean stars like Rihanna. This is particularly noticeable in the single 'Stars' featuring Sam Smith, which has the potential to become an anthem in the American market. This track is a modern R&B single full of vibe.

Besides collaborating with some of the biggest names on her album, Shenseea made sure tracks like 'Neva Neva,' 'Dolla,' and 'Die For You' stood out, teasing them before the album's official release. She also worked with renowned producers such as London, Supa Dups, and Jamaican natives Rvssian and Di Genius.

The 14-track project, executive produced by London on da Track, effortlessly embraces the summery dancehall-pop melodies that Shenseea has made her signature with her unique singing-rapping style. Additionally, she experiments with Latin trap and heavy afrobeats soundscapes. As the leading face of Jamaican music on the global stage, Shenseea is a definitive stamp of the genre's evolution.
