Brooklyn-based renowned sound system and recording label, MASSIVE B, is reigniting the energy of the 'Riot Squad Riddim' by teaming up with a new wave of dancehall artists.

Leading this revival is the release of “Tun Up The Club,” a single by fast-rising dancehall star Pablo YG, which dropped on June 7th. The track is already making waves on the airwaves, and there are plans to shoot a video for the single soon. “Working with Pablo YG has been an incredible experience. His talent and energy are unmatched, and it has been a joyful process,” Konders said.

Following Pablo YG’s release, upcoming singles will feature fast-rising sensation Nigy Boy, Nadg, and a collaboration between legendary Spragga Benz and Xyclone. Nadg, who had great success in NYC last year with his single "We Run E Grung" remix on Busta Rhymes' original track, was a natural fit for the project.

Nigy Boy has been supported by HOT 97 from the time his manager, Dr. Love, introduced him to us. He is one of the fastest-rising stars in dancehall right now, showcasing exceptional talent,” Konders expressed. “Nadg is a natural fit for the project,” he added, emphasizing his longstanding relationship with Xyclone and Spragga Benz, and noting that he has produced numerous tracks for Spragga over the years.

The 'Riot Squad Riddim' originally captured the hearts of dancehall enthusiasts with iconic tracks by Vybz Kartel, including the 2011 hits “Get Gyal Easy” and “Ghetto Road.” This riddim quickly became a staple in dancehall clubs, showcasing the genre's vibrant and dynamic sound. "We received numerous calls to bring back the beloved riddim, which was also played by Ricky Blaze", stated Konders.
