Rising dancehall sensation Valiant continues to ride the wave of success that propelled him to fame in late 2022. The 'Mad Out' singjay is now set to release his music under the label of Sony Music UK's Epic Records UK, a move that was officially confirmed by Sony UK in a recent Instagram post. This announcement comes as Valiant, recently nominated for a MOBO Award.
He recently unveiled a 6-single project titled 'A Gift From Me To You,' specifically crafted for a female audience. This marks his debut project under Sony.
In the UK, Sony Music collaborates with Columbia Records UK, while in the US, they are represented by Sony's flagship RCA Records. Valiant now joins the ranks of other accomplished Jamaican artists, including Koffee, Protoje, Skillibeng, and Lila Ike, within the Sony family.
Valiant made notable appearances last year in the UK, captivating audiences in cities like London and Manchester, contributing to the growth of his dedicated fan base. His official YouTube account boasts over 608K subscribers and has garnered an impressive 305 million views. Additionally, Valiant enjoys significant popularity on Spotify, where he boasts over 614K monthly listeners, with a substantial portion hailing from the UK.
As the 25-year-old singer gears up for the Mobo awards on February 7, where he's nominated for 'Best Caribbean Music Act,' the collaboration with Sony Music further solidifies his place in the industry. Sony Music, formerly known as Sony Music Entertainment, stands as one of the world's three largest record companies and is under the control of the American division of the Japanese corporation Sony.
