Dancehall’s rising producers, Prod. Svcci and Disaster Music, shine with their standout contribution to the trending juggling, collaborating with some of the genre's biggest heavyweights

A new crop of producers has emerged across the dancehall scene in recent years, with some breaking through as recently as this past year. While some have swiftly established themselves as go-to hit-makers, others are talented newcomers savoring their first taste of success. Together, this fresh generation is shaping the future of dancehall with their creativity and innovation.
Currently riding high on the trending charts is the "Rooster Riddim," a standout production by Prod.Svcci and Disaster Music for Attomatic Records and Dansky Records. This riddim is not only turning heads but solidifying the duo's reputation as innovative forces in the genre.
Svcci, whose given name is Jaheem Mills, reflected on his swift ascent in the industry. “I started music less than a year ago, dreaming of reaching the level I’m at now. Through hard work and dedication, that dream has truly become a reality.”
Meanwhile, Disaster Music continues to deliver impactful beats, crafting tracks for notable names such as Skippa's, "Going On", Nhance with "Time n God" and even dancehall heavyweight Popcaan for his single "Kill E Club". those just among others.
“It’s such a humble beginning for me, but I’m grateful to work with talented individuals and established artists,” shared Disaster Music, whose real name is Darius Bailey.
“I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with veteran producers and artists I’ve admired for years, even before I started working on music for big names,” Svcci elaborated.
“mi enjoy building beats. I’ve taken inspiration from others, but I’m shaping my own label style and name as we speak,” stated St. Catherine-based producer, Disaster.
With trending singles like "Get Up" by Squash and "Whites" by Masicka, both spending time at #1 on YouTube trending charts, the producers expressed their pride. “Well, It’s such an honor to see this. Getting a chance to work with names of that caliber—can’t even explain the feeling,” they shared.
"Of course, the Rooster Riddim juggling, which features artists such as Squash, Tommy Lee, Masicka, Malie Donn, and many more major names in the industry, is my biggest accomplishment to date," Svcci expressed. "My goal is still to keep putting in the work and take things international."
As these producers push boundaries and contribute to dancehall's evolution, their work is setting the tone for what’s to come in the genre.
