Ahead of his highly anticipated concert in the BZR weekend in Kingston, ‘Breezy’ has ramped up the anticipation. What will be the highlight of the event at the end of the night?
Chris Brown, Byron Messia, another remix will be revealed live?
The increasing popularity gained by Byrons Messia's colossal hit single 'Talibans', has already led to a major collaboration with the Afrobeat superstar, Burna Boy, with the title 'Talibans II', however, it seems like the Jamaican-born-St. Kitts-based dancehall sensation is on his way to releasing another major remix with the American R&B star, Chris Brown.
In June 'Breezy' as he is more popularly known, previewed a remixed version of the song on his Instagram page that sent shockwaves across the social media platforms, and recently, he again teased the remix ahead of his highly anticipated 'Under The Influence' concert which will take place at the National Stadium in Kingston Jamaica, on Sunday, August 27 as the main event of the BZR Weeknd. This teasing reignited much anticipation for both artistes to officially debut the collaboration on the National Stadium stage.
'Talibans II', made Byron Messia officially a Billboard Hot 100-charting hitmaker as it debuted on the August 5th dated chart at No. 99. The single has already amassed 8.3 million views on YouTube with the original single viewed over 44 million times on the platform.
The R&B giant’s performance in Jamaica has become the most talked about events in recent weeks across the island as the star-studded line-up has also drawn even more attention to the show. Whether it's dancing to the global hit singles from Chris Brown and Ding Dong with his Ravers crew or ‘Drifting’ with Teejay or the rumored new ‘Talibans’ remix collaboration, the anticipation for the show is sky high for numerous reasons.
As we reported earlier this week, the American rapper, Capella Grey is also on the island of Jamaica and with his remixed version of the hit single, ‘Gyallis’ with Chris Brown and Popcaan, he is also expected to grace the stage.
