The Sandz Caribbean Music Festival is preparing for the 'Sandz X' festivities, scheduled for April 1, 2024, at Plantation Cove in St. Ann, Jamaica. This milestone occasion, commemorating a decade of remarkable accomplishments and unforgettable moments, guarantees to conclude the VaCae weekend with unmatched style and excitement.

Following the traditional opening on January 1st in Kingston, the stage is set for the highly anticipated Easter event. Featuring top recording artists including A Team, Wayne Ed X Junior Killa, X-Factor, Bishop Escobar, and Kevin Crown from New York, patrons can expect an electrifying atmosphere and a captivating experience.

Rick Ross rocks the crowd at Sandz 2023

During last year's VaCae weekend, over 20,000 patrons gathered to witness international rap star Rick Ross perform. Andrew Ellis, Managing Director of Twenty 14 Limited, stated, "Sandz has grown tremendously over the last 10 years. We are the only event of this nature that has amassed the support and patron loyalty that we have. It's the people’s party and we appreciate them." Over its 10-year span, the event series has attracted over a million patrons, mostly millennials aged between 21 and 35 years.

From its humble beginnings as a beach party in Portmore, St. Catherine in May 2014, Sandz has evolved into a global sensation. It's now the premier Caribbean music festival worldwide, thriving in Jamaica, New York, and Florida in the United States. Additionally, Sandz has become a cross-cultural phenomenon in Toronto, Canada.

Sandz is set to expand its presence in Jamaica to St. Elizabeth at the Alpert Sports Complex on October 20, 2024, during Heroes Weekend.

Andrew Ellis happily expressed, "We have seen growth in all markets and the potential for additional markets is very high. This expansion is a testament to the global appeal of Caribbean culture and the unique experience that Sandz offers. The overwhelming support from our audience around the world drives us to aim even higher."
