International dancehall superstar Sean Paul is set to release the official music video for his latest track, 'Bring It', a reworking of the iconic Showtime Riddim by legendary producer Dave Kelly.

Produced by his Dutty Rock Productions label, the track has already made waves globally, breathing new life into the Showtime Riddim, which was originally released in the late '90s by Kelly's Madhouse Records and has since become one of dancehall’s most celebrated beats.

For Sean Paul, voicing the Showtime Riddim was a long-held dream. "Showtime, to me, is one of the most prolific dancehall riddims. It probably produced the most number ones in the country," said the Grammy Award-winning artist.

Directed by Sean Paul's longtime audio-visual archivist, Kieran Khan, the official music video for 'Bring It' was filmed during the third leg of The Greatest Tour in Canada in early September.

“The video was shot while on tour in Canada at the Bisha Hotel during his Toronto stop,” revealed Khan. “We had a four-hour window before he needed to head to the next city for a show the following day". The multi-platinum artist performed in nine shows across Canada, including stops in Toronto, Moncton, Halifax, Trois-Rivières, Quebec City, and Saint-Georges.

Khan emphasized the importance of capturing the energy of Sean Paul's music and fanbase. “We had to showcase the beautiful ladies who have been enjoying the music all these years. The video features Sean Paul cruising through the city on a beautiful summer day in Toronto,” he revealed. “We complemented that with cuts of talented dancers, incorporating dance culture into the visuals. It’s all about Sean Paul representing for the ladies.”

This marks Khan's 14th time directing a music video for Sean Paul. His previous collaborations include 'No Fear' featuring Damian Marley and Nicky Jam; 'Everest' featuring Masicka and Skillibeng; 'Summa Hot'; and 'Real Steel' featuring Intence among others.

As Sean Paul’s audio-visual archivist for the past seven years, Khan has been on countless private performance trips and tours with the Grammy-Award winning artiste.

“My journey with the Sean Paul brand has been fuelled by passion and dedication, growing stronger over the years spent around him. While his extensive catalogue of hits is well-known, those who meet him develop an even deeper respect for his humility,” Khan shared. “Showcasing Sean Paul’s brand to the world through social platforms and captivating music videos bridges the dynamic artiste on stage with the genuine person fans experience in real life. It’s a responsibility I hold with the utmost respect.”
