Shaggy Launches His Exclusive SiriusXM Channel: Shaggy's Boombastic Radio

The Jamaican icon has officially announced his exclusive SiriusXM channel, where he will share exclusive stuff and his favorite tracks

Reggae and Dancehall Icon, Grammy Award-winning Shaggy, has officially announced the launch of his exclusive year-round SiriusXM channel, Shaggy's Boombastic Radio. Fans can anticipate a continuous stream of Shaggy's favorite reggae, dancehall, and afrobeat tracks throughout the entire year.


Among the channel's distinctive offerings, Shaggy's Boombastic Radio will debut an exceptional live performance featuring Shaggy and Sting from their inaugural One Fine Day festival. This remarkable show, recorded at the Mann Center in Philadelphia, will be broadcast on the channel during the Thanksgiving weekend.



In addition to these exciting highlights, Shaggy personally curates a selection of his preferred singles for Shaggy's Boombastic Radio, providing listeners with an immersive experience into the world of reggae, dancehall, and lively afrobeats.


Furthermore, Shaggy's radio channel is home to "Shaggy's Yaad," a show that originally premiered on the SiriusXM channel FLY and is now entering its successful third year. Shaggy's Yaad, now a regular feature on Shaggy's Boombastic Radio, takes listeners on a cultural journey, presenting a diverse mix of rare and classic tracks spanning the genres of hip-hop, dancehall, and reggae.

Shaggy, the only dancehall artist in music history to achieve diamond-selling status, has achieved remarkable success, with over 40 million album units sold, eight Billboard Hot 100 singles, and seven Billboard Hot 100 albums, including four in the top 40. Shaggy has earned two GRAMMY Awards for his contributions to the music industry.
