Dancehall artist Shawn Storm is gearing up to release his first EP since his release from prison, "New Life", on Friday November 22. The 6-track collection promises a transformative experience, blending soulful melodies with introspective lyrics, showcasing Shawn Storm’s emotive and authentic sound.
Produced by renowned industry veteran Johnny Wonder and Swedish producer Andreas 'Adde Productions' Nilsson—who has collaborated with dancehall stars like Skillibeng and Vybz Kartel—the project reflects Shawn Storm’s artistic evolution.
"This EP represents a significant milestone in my artistic journey," says Shawn Storm. "Each track is a reflection of the myriad emotions and transformations I've undergone, and I'm thrilled to share this part of my story with my audience."
The EP showcases a variety of styles, from the soulful and introspective opener "Commitment" to the energetic anthem "Weed & Fly." It also includes the recently released track "New Money (EEP)," featuring former Gaza Empire artist Lisa Hyper, The song, which dropped a month ago, was produced by Eastern Entertainment promotion.
"Shawn Storm's music has a way of speaking directly to the heart," shared producer Johnny Wonder. "His ability to weave compelling narratives through his songs is truly remarkable, and the 'New Life EP' is poised to solidify his status as a rising force in the Dancehall music scene."
The Zombie, as he is popularly known as well, has recently dropped new collaboration with fellow dancehall artiste Ding Dong. The upcoming track, titled 'The Return', is produced by Khalfani Records and is already creating anticipation among fans.
Shawn Storm's return to the music scene comes after being released from prison alongside his longtime mentor, Vybz Kartel.
