International Dancehall superstar Shenseea, who turns 28 today, has been submitted for three Grammy Awards by her management team, including We Good and her co-manager Donny "Dizzy" Flores, as he shared in his story.
The submissions include Record of the Year for her hit single "Hit & Run" featuring Masicka, Best Reggae Album for her sophomore project 'Never Gets Late Here', and Best African Music Performance for her collaboration with Wizkid on "Work Me Out," featured on the album.
The smash hit single "Hit & Run," released on January 26 and produced by Jamaican top producer Di Genius, continues to showcase its longevity with over 85 million views on YouTube to date. Currently holding the #45 spot on the iTunes Top 100 Reggae Songs chart, it has maintained a strong presence for months, standing alongside timeless classics in the genre.
With Grammy nominations set to be announced on November 8, 2024, Shenseea’s team, including Romeich Entertainment, is hopeful that she will earn recognition across these categories, further cementing her impressive global impact.
