Jamaican dancehall sensation Shenseea has announced via her Twitter account that she will perform At The Raha Fest in Kenya on December 31. This comes after the cancellation of her highly anticipated concert last year, which was originally scheduled for August.

Currently on her American and Canadian tour, riding high on the success of her sophomore album Never Gets Late Here, the "Hit And Run" hitmaker is generating considerable anticipation. Her African fanbase has seen a significant boost recently, thanks to her hit collaboration "Work Me Out" featuring Afrobeats star Wizkid.

Last year, Shenseea took to her Instagram page to address the misunderstanding surrounding the canceled Kenyan tour. She explained to her fans: "I was booked for Kenya, and due to safety concerns that were brought to my attention, I was advised it would be best to reschedule. I chose to refund my deposit rather than hold onto it without a set date."

She added, "The promoters assured me that all monies would be refunded to patrons as well. I look forward to performing in Kenya soon! Thank you to all my supporters for understanding!"

Shenseea, who recently made history as the first Jamaican female artist to surpass 1 million YouTube views, is set to conclude her American tour in the coming weeks. She will then bring her tour to Jamaica on September 27.
