Shenseea Reveals Details About Upcoming Album & Potential Collab with Chris Brown

Jamaican star plans dancehall album with R&B and rap elements. Another collaboration with the American star in the works?


Shenseea, continues to make strides in the vast American market


The Jamaican dancehall superstar, Shenseea has shared more details about her highly anticipated album set to be released in 2024.


The 'Blessed' singer disclosed that the album will predominantly feature a blend of R&B and Dancehall. While she mentioned the possibility of including a rap track, she admitted that she is currently unsure of its fit within the overall project.

During a live Instagram session, she expressed, "Uno a get Dancehall, on the album, uno a get a little R&B and uno ago listen to it to."


Adding to the excitement, Shenseea hinted at a collaboration with R&B star Chris Brown, revealing that they are actively working on another song together. This follows their previous collaborations, including the afrobeat hit "Diana" featuring Nigerian artist Fireboy DML (Which surpasses 27M streams on Spotify) and the recent "Open Wide" single, featured in rapper Busta Rhymes' 'Blockbuster' album.



As Shenseea continues to make waves in the immense American music scene, she showcased her rap skills in the past. However, in this upcoming album, she aims to showcase a diverse range of musical styles.


The 26-year-old Jamaican star recently graced the stage at HOT97's prestigious WinterJam in New York, further solidifying her presence in the thriving music industry.
