Spice drops another pre-release single from her upcoming album, teaming up with 'Law Boss' for the first time to deliver a raw dancehall street and club anthem
Spice is going for a "Gangster" vibe
The Queen of Dancehall, Spice, unveils her latest pre-album release, “Gangster,” featuring one of Dancehall’s prolific artists, Chronic Law. This verse-for-verse collaboration will appear on her third studio album, ‘Mirror 25’, accompanied by a harmonic chorus, which is a raw Dancehall street/club anthem.
Their first-ever collaboration is set to be another summer banger, strategically dropped to cater to a more hard-core Dancehall audience. Yet, the catchy melody and perfectly fused sonic elements of both artists will secure mainstream appreciation.
Written by Spice and Chronic Law, and co-produced by Spice Official Entertainment and Ireland Records, "Gangster" follows the tradition of a ‘counteraction’ style delivery. The beat was composed by Keron “YowLevite” Young, mastered by Redboom SupaMix, and recorded at Ireland Recording Studios.
Spice is set to release her introspective new album, ‘Mirror 25,’ on August 9th through her label, Spice Official Entertainment, with distribution by Empire. According to Spice, the album features 25 songs and serves as a raw, open diary of her tribulations and triumphs, offering a glimpse into her past and future. It commemorates her 25 years in the industry as an international recording artist.
Spice has collectively streamed over 433 million times on YouTube and over 65 million times on Spotify, making her one of the most streamed female artists in her genre. She’s collaborated with musical acts such as Missy Elliot, Nicki Minaj, Vybz Kartel, Kid Ink, Jeremiah, Busta Rhymes, Mya, Charly Blacks, Neyo, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Stylo G, and more. She’s appeared on Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Tamron Hall Show and Good Morning Britain showcasing her talents and classics throughout a 25 year span.
