Spice officially released her third studio album, Mirror 25, at a private launch party in Kingston on Thursday, August 8. Within just five minutes of its release, the album soared to the number one spot on the US Reggae iTunes chart, dethroning Bob Marley's iconic Legend album, which typically dominates the top.

At the launch party, the Jamaican dancehall icon also revealed that 'Mirror 25' climbed to the number two spot on the overall iTunes chart, just behind Kanye West.

This quick rise to the top is a common trend for new releases as eager fans purchase the album immediately, driving it up the charts.

Global rap star Nicki Minaj makes a cameo on the intro of Spice's new album, Mirror 25, saying, "Yo Spice, you know I had to check in with the Queen of Dancehall. Big up all the good pussy gals, nice body, nice skin, gyal. Brrr!"

The 26-track album, celebrating Spice's 25 years in the industry as the Queen of Dancehall, includes a bonus track titled "God Bless Me" and features several impressive collaborations. Numerous celebrities and fellow artists showed their support at the launch event, including the King of Dancehall, Beenie Man, as well as Jada Kingdom and Pamputtae, who both featured on the track "Super Hero," a trio collaboration.
