Grammy-nominated superstar, Queen of dancehall, Spice, drops her first single of the year—her most vulnerable release yet—titled '2085 Tea', first song from her upcoming "Mirror 25" album.

"2085 Tea" is a fiery song where Spice drops the "tea" on her personal life, revealing dark moments from the past few years. This upbeat track bares her raw truth, showing she relates to life's adversities like her fans.

"2085 Tea" will be Spice's most controversial single yet, combining authentic truths with vocal creativity. In this explosive new track, Spice time-travels to the year 2085, embodying herself as an old woman. Using her 'old granny voice,' she unapologetically reflects on her past experiences and how they shaped her into the triumphant woman she is today. The single accompanying with a music video, The immersive visual proves that Spice has rightfully earned her nod as ‘the most creative female Dancehall artist.’

"2085 Tea" spills exclusive, never-before-told truths from Spice’s perspective, including how one of her closest dancers slept with her children's father. The song tackles issues of colorism, music industry standards, and reveals her battle with a powerful music executive who tried to blacklist her career. Additionally, Spice sheds light on her 10-year struggle with her previous record label. "I am in an era where I want to live in my truth," stated Spice. "Being an open book comes with revealing personal experiences that I have been through to remind people that I am human," she says.

The rhythm track was composed by Keron “YowLevite” Young, mastered by Redboom SupeaMix, and recorded at Ireland Recording Studios.
