Rising dancehall-R&B sensation Stalk Ashley is preparing to drop her highly anticipated debut EP, 'Stalky the Bratt', slated for release later this year. Adding fuel to the excitement, she unveils a thrilling collaboration with dancehall star Skillibeng titled "Really Like U". Produced by Stalk Ashley Music LLC and her manager Jaxx, this fresh track promises to ignite the airwaves upon its release on March 1, 2024.
Regarding the song's theme, Stalk Ashley expressed, "The message for this song is pretty straightforward. I detail the things I'd like to do unapologetically with no concern for what people say."
The Manchester-born rising star emphasized that this collaboration with Skillibeng was a natural flow. The synergy between the two artists is evident as they exchange verses in their respective rap styles. "Creating this song was immaculate. Skillibeng is incredibly talented, and is made working with him a breeze," the artist stated, hinting that this won't be their last collaboration.
'Really Like U' will serve as a captivating sneak peek into what listeners can anticipate from her forthcoming EP, slated for release in the spring of 2024. "My only hope is that This song finds exactly who it was intended for. that is, people who like to have fun without judgment,” the dancehall songstress stated.
According to sources at Kaboom Magazine, while this isn't exactly her debut album, the 10-track EP will feature exciting collaborations, potentially including one with dancehall star Shenseea. It's worth noting that she has previously collaborated with a lineup of dancehall stars, such as Skeng in 'Taliban', Valiant in 'Narcissist', and Alkaline in 'Incognito', all of which garnered tens of millions of streams and views.
“What you can expect from this body of work is pure vibes. it’s a bit of an energy shift from the usual stalky you’d expect. this is simply a taste of what’s to come,” she teased.
Fans can look forward to more releases, more music and more Stalk Ashley vibes in the near future.
