While the organizers are keeping the headlining act under wraps, they promise big moves for this year's staging, set for Saturday, August 30, at the National Stadium
Who will be the headliner this year?
Riding the wave of success from Chronic Law's electrifying performance last August, the Streetz Festival team has announced its next staging for Saturday, August 30, 2025. Once again set to take over the National Stadium, this year's event promises to close out the summer with a major statement.
Marking its third staging in Kingston since its debut, this edition teases big international names gracing the National Stadium stage, hinting at an even grander production.
“We are committed to bringing to Kingston, international caliber acts that have not performed locally in a while. Streetz Headliners are given the creative freedom to develop their full sets, with their collaborators and their full band. We want to showcase the best of Jamaican culture, that is what makes our festival unique,” event organizer Chad Williams expressed.
"we are still very tight-lipped about our headliner this year but as is customary with Streetz Festival, there will be a number of supporting acts and surprises"
While the organizers are keeping the headlining act under wraps for now, patrons can confidently expect a spectacular festival, based on the quality of production over the past years.
“At this point, we are still very tight-lipped about our headliner this year but as is customary with Streetz Festival, there will be a number of supporting acts and surprises,” Chad Williams revealed. With great expectations for this year’s event, the organizers are promising a spectacle like no other, one that Kingston has not experienced in the last 10 years. Patrons can look forward to another amazing staging raising the level of production along with safe, authentic entertainment.
Now in its fifth staging, the Streetz Festival was previously held in St. Ann before making its Kingston debut in 2023 with a star-studded lineup headlined by dancehall superstar Masicka. The festival stage has been graced by full-set performances from Ding Dong and Chronic Law, among others, along with surprise appearances by Popcaan, Tarrus Riley, Jahshii, Lila Ike, Najeeriii, Skippa, and many more.
Joining him in applauding the festival’s success, Richard Roache of SMA Talent, official talent scout for the festival said, “We are proud of what is becoming a staple in the Kingston music, food and cultural scene. The atmosphere at Streetz Festival is really something to admire.”
The event will showcase Jamaica’s rich culture, food, art, music, and vibes, while top sponsors about to join on board to enhance the authentic Dancehall experience in its birthplace, Kingston.
