Dancehall stars Teejay and Masicka team up for the first time on their highly anticipated single, "Never Complain," dropping on Friday, October 25th.

Both deejays, known for their lyrical prowess, exchange verses in "Neva Complain," creating a powerful single that's set to ignite dancehall fans. With their signature styles, Teejay and Masicka deliver hard-hitting lyrics over a dynamic beat, promising to make a major impact with that track.

The single produced by Guyana's Slingerz Records and composed by Panda, and powered by Warner Music, where Teejay is signed, the track has sparked significant buzz within the dancehall scene. The excitement has been amplified by the video shoot, directed by Ruppi from Now or Never, which has only heightened fans' curiosity in recent weeks.

Kevin Balgobin, CEO of Slingerz Records shares his excitement about bringing Teejay and Masicka together for Never Complain. “It’s a pleasure and an honor to be working with the two new leaders of the new generation of dancehall, Teejay & Masicka,” he expressed,

The collaboration came naturally. “Teejay voiced the song, and we were all listening to it, catching a vibe,” Kevin recalled. “We both suggested to each other that having Masicka on this as a collab would be an instant hit.”

“I played the song with the open verse for him, and he instantly loved it,” he shared with Kaboom Magazine. “He said he was going to voice his verses on it.” A month later, around 4 a.m., he received a voice note from Masicka. “It was him and the 1Syde family, playing the song with his verse, and the rest was history after that.”

Both artists recently received Grammy consideration for their latest projects. For Teejay, it was his debut EP, 'I Am Chippy', while Masicka earned recognition for his sophomore album, 'Generation of Kings'. Both releases are in the running for the Reggae Album of the Year.
