The Carnival season might be over but the islands of Trinidad & Tobago, Hawaii, Haiti, and Jamaica unite for this historic remix of the track 'Liki Tiki' by Kes (aka Kes The Band) featuring Maoli, J Boog, and J Perry, with production provided by J-Vibe, Michaël Brun (J Balvin, Mr Eazi), and Dwala.
"Liki Tiki is the way I describe our calypso-style rhythms and feel," says Kes frontman Kees Dieffenthaller. "It’s the driving force behind the swing in our music. It's smooth, sexy and makes you feel good."
For the remix, Jamaican-born producer J-Vibe adds an additional splash of Reggae influence, and Hawaiian-born artists Maoli and J-Boog their infectious vocals, making it the perfect soundtrack to any island party. Released via California-based independent label Ineffable Records.
The Trini soca artiste, Kes (Kes The Band) gain a lot of attention recently in Jamaica when he performed at one of the most popular events in Carnival season, "I Love Soca".
