"Time," the name of one of his trending singles, symbolizes the essence of everything in life. Rising dancehall deejay Jamal has experienced 2024 as his breakthrough year, earning widespread recognition and becoming one of the most talked-about artists in Jamaica.


Montego Bay's son, who is also known as "Dance Man," began his journey into music at the young age of 18, inspired by the rhythmic beats and soulful melodies of his community. However, 2024 stands out as a milestone year, marked by viral hits, chart-topping success, and significant career growth.



His latest project, "Rated D For Dunce", showcases his lyrical mastery and magnetic delivery. Jamal's ability to seamlessly fuse traditional dancehall vibes with contemporary sounds has solidified his place in the genre. His debut EP soared to the top of the charts, with standout singles like "Time" dominating YouTube and iTunes.


He closed the year with electrifying performances at local events, culminating in a special appearance at Vybz Kartel's historic "Freedom Street Concert" on New Year's Eve.
