Triple Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas has officially signed with Michael Johnson's Grand Slam Track, the newly established professional track and field home.
Thomas made history at the Paris Olympics by becoming the first American woman since Allyson Felix in 2012 to win gold in the 200m event. She also played a pivotal role in Team USA’s victories in both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays.
Following her impressive season, Thomas was featured in Season 2 of Netflix's docuseries "Sprint," which provides an in-depth look at the journeys of elite sprinters.
In recognition of her stellar 2024 season, she was named the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Athlete of the Year by USA Track and Field.
“I am so excited to be joining Grand Slam Track™, and partnering with Michael Johnson to give our sport the platform it deserves,” shared Thomas. “Coming off of the Olympics, I want to continue testing myself and competing at the highest level against the fastest women in the world. Grand Slam Track allows us that chance in 2025. I look forward to seeing all of our fans at the four Slams next year.”
The Slams are set to debut in Kingston from April 4–6, 2025, before moving on to Miami, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.
