Dancehall star Valiant set to drop new mixtape featuring international collaborations; prepares for major debut at Wireless Festival in London
Valiant, hints at international collaborations on upcoming mixtape
Since signing with Sony Music UK's Epic Records earlier this year, dancehall star Valiant has been diligently working on his second project for the label and is now hinting at an upcoming mixtape set to be released soon. This will be his first official project under their label, following the successful six-track mix titled "A Gift From Me to You," released in December 2023 via Sony Music Entertainment UK.
Building on his debut project "4:14," this new release aims to have a more international appeal. According to sources of Kaboom Magazine, it will feature collaborations with international and Afrobeat artists, blending dancehall, Afro, and other genres.
Valiant's debut single under Sony Music Entertainment UK, titled "Flava," was released in April. The dancehall hitmaker continues to produce hit singles like "Lumbah," "Godfada," "Paradox" featuring Shaneil Muir, and "Gungo Bwoy" this year.
Valiant is also set to perform at the Wireless Festival in Finsbury Park, London, England. He will share the stage with fellow dancehall stars including Sean Paul, Skilibeng, and Byron Messia. Valiant's performance is scheduled for Saturday, July 13, the second day of the festival, headlined by rappers 21 Savage and JHus. Other international stars headlining the event include Nicki Minaj, Future, Gunna, Sexyy Red, Doja Cat, Rema among many others.
Maintaining his global presence, Valiant's debut at Wireless is highly anticipated and marks a significant milestone in his career.
