Dancehall icon Vybz Kartel is juggling a packed 2025 schedule, releasing visuals for both new and classic hits. On Sunday, March 30, he premiered the official music video for “God Is The Greatest,” one of the standout singles from the Viking 10th Anniversary Deluxe project.
A heartfelt anthem of gratitude, “God Is The Greatest” is Kartel’s reflection on faith and perseverance following his release from prison after years of legal battles.
The visuals—shot as a day in the life vlog in Miami by acclaimed Jamaican director Ruppi—captured Kartel’s emotional journey since regaining his freedom. The video features scenes from the day of his release, highlights from the iconic Freedom Street concert, and moments reconnecting with friends, including a link-up with DJ Khaled and his musical father Bounty Killer upon returning to the U.S.
Since the reinstatement of his U.S. visa, Kartel hasn’t wasted a moment. He recently released a music video for his 2014 classic “Ignite The World” and has completed visuals for the fan-favorite “Miami Vice Episode.” Embracing his freedom and legendary catalog, Kartel is fully stepping into the digital era, with upcoming visuals for “God Bless” and “Dreams Are Made Of,” both featured on the Viking 10th Anniversary Deluxe project.
